Resize'Em All Editor's Review

Resize'Em All, as the name says, is a simple photo resizing application. It's easy to use, you just have to drag and drop the images into the application.

I selected for the test all my summer trip photos. After I dragged and dropped into the application all my photos, I had to select the "batch" option for resizing. The "batch" option is missing proportionality. I converted different types and sizes of photos to 320x240 resolution for my portable video player. The 'wide' resolution images were resized to the chosen resolution and stretched to be 320x240 due to lack of proportionality identifier. So instead of having 320x120 wide resolution, the photos got stretched to 320x240. Saving the photos was easy also, you can add any words to the original file name to distinguish them. If I were to use this option very often, some keyboard shortcuts to control the application would make the process even easier.

Unlike the "batch" option, you can also resize one picture at the time, and there you have the "proportionality" checkbox. You can also uncheck it, but the image won't preserve the same horizontal and vertical proportions.

Supported file types are: 'jpg', 'png', 'tiff', ''gif' and 'bmp'. Also after choosing the size, Resize'Em All calculates the output file size automatically.

Pluses: It can resize a great amount of photos quickly and easily.

Drawbacks / flaws: It won't maintain the proportionality in batch mode.

In conclusion: simply resize in any resolution all your photos with one click. You can also try ResizeIt or iResizer.
